I have a very deep soft spot for Betsy, actually. After my daughter was born, for the first few months, I couldn't shake the feeling that she seemed like a Betsy. The name was not even on my radar before she was born, but after...she seemed sooooo Betsy. I did not change her name, though I did call her Betsy sometimes ;) Couldn't help myself. For the record, that faded after a few months and her actual name is definitely her true name, fits her perfectly.
