I like Peregrine. I think it's a very open and adventurous name. It doesn't make me think too much of the falcon, nor of the hobbit (he spells it without the -e, I know). Instead I picture a handsome piratey looking guy standing on the bow of his ship. Lots of tan sort of colors going on. Looks a lot like Orlando Bloom, really... :)I pronoucne it per-uh-grin, never heard it -green before. I do know one Peregrin, he's the son of a friend of mine... 5 years old or so. They call him Pippin, of course. I don't really like that much, and I even more dislike Perry. So not sure where that leaves us for nicknames.I think it goes just fine with the rest of your list.

I know it's not everyone cup of tea but I've long liked the idea of Peregrine nn Peg :). Have also been thinking lately, that Peregrine nn Perun or Perrin would make sense
