I would pronounce it LEE-dah. It would be unusable in Sweden, though, because lida means "to suffer" in Swedish. Stephen King's Misery is called Lida in Swedish.
Oh, and I forgot to add - Leda and Lyda are no better. Leda means "boredom" (or "to lead") and lyda means "to obey"!Does the sea exist
