Ah, Violet. Violet and Virginia stick out as practically the only V girls' names I don't like. It's not clunky like Virginia, so I'm not sure what it is about it that makes me not like it. Maybe that the color violet always makes me think of very ancient ladies? Maybe because it's so close to the word "violent"? Whatever it is, I just can't like it.
