I like Violet. Mostly. I have some mixed feelings because it kind of feels like a very weak name. Same with Lily, which I love. I think Violet would complement a name like Matilda or Ingrid or Natalia or Greta or Cora really nicely because they have kind of harder-sounding consonants and vowel sounds. Violet seems to drift off into the distance. Which can be nice, of course. It's a really dreamy, romantic name. Yeah, my thoughts are pretty confused on Violet. I actually met someone called Violette recently. It was nice to hear it on a person. And not a baby or toddler - she was about eighteen. I think Violet/Violette would age really well.
