I like Clive, but not Ollie.
When I've brought up Clive in the past people use all sorts of terms to describe it as downgrade and dated. I'm American, so my only association with it is Clive Owen, who I don't see as chavvy or white trash at all, but I guess the name brings up other things for Brits and Australians.

As you know I'm in the UK and I don't think it has a downgrade or chavvy image here. The Clives I have known have actually been the opposite. It's a name I associate with solicitors and bank managers for some reason!It is very dated though. I checked and there were only four born in the UK last year so I doubt it's ready to make a comeback here yet but you never know.I love Clive Owen!
