If I had twins right now.......
Replies
Ella Marie and Sofia Elizabeth - Ella and Sofia as twin names arent too bad but Ella and Marie just seem a little bland to me, I would prefer Eleanor nn Ella
Jacob Isaiah / Landon Shane - far to different in style Jacob Shane and Landon Isaiah would be better to my mind
Asher Mackenzie and Taylor Leigh - Too unisex for my liking sorry

"freakishly boring"?
Isn't that an oxymoron?
Besides - both Sofia and Elizabeth are currently more popular than Ella and Marie... Ella is a wonderful alternative to the uber popular Emma.

No, I don't think so.
Ella is trendy, not so much popular. It's overused, and is appearing on zillions of message boards. Sofia, while popular, has been popular for a few years. It is trendy, but hasn't appeared out of thin air. Elizabeth is a classic that has been popular for decades. Marie isn't popular at all as a first name, but is extremely popular (along with Grace, Rose, Lynn, and Anne) as a middle name.
I, and most other people, find that both Ella and Emma are horribly overused. This doesn't make them bad names. They're perfectly nice names.
What really gets me about Ella is that it's nicknamey. Due to a brain splat, I didn't mention that in my post *headsmack*.

I love them all except the boy/girl combo which has Mackenzie (which I hate with a passion, seriously, that name is ugly and overdone imo, but at least you have it as a mn) and Taylor for a girl which... have you see She's All That? Taylor Vaughan? THAT is every female Taylor Ive ever met - and pretty much every male Taylor as well.
Leigh I like though I'm a bit biased because that's my mn lol.
