A set of triplets I came across...
I came across a sibset (including triplets) on facebook.
Jon
Hannes, Gabriel & Filip
Isolde
Personally, I like Gabriel, Hanens and Isolde. But I think the sibset is quite mismatched, Jon and Isolde really sticks out.

I like Hannes, Gabriel, Filip and Isolde but, even though they left the "Jo" part out of Johannes, it still feels like Jon and Hannes are essentially variants of the same name.
It really, really bothers me that they have Jon and Hannes in the same sibset.
And Isolde is misplaced, but it's my favourite name of the lot.

Aren't Jon and Hannes very much related name-wise? That seems weird to have in the same sibset.
I like Gabriel and Filip is okay.

I guess they are. Jon is pronounced like YOON in Swedish though, so it's not like John :)
Oh. Same root or no?
Jon is an old short form of both Johannes and Jonas. So yes and no.
Yeah, Jon is the swedish form of John. But it's not very common, especially not among children.
I really like Gabriel, Isolde and Filip (Phillip). Jon I find rather boring and Hannes.. a bit lower-class.
