Re: Hazel
in reply to a message by Magz
I tried to like Hazel, but I just can't .It's old, wizened, and gray. Those aren't bad things, but I don't think it suits a little girl or a young woman at all. It's wheezy, it's unattractive, it's not charming-ugly, it's just ugly . I'm sorry. "What matters most is how well you walk through the fire." -Charles Bukowski

Ninety-five percent of the time, I don't read other responses before I make my own. This is because I don't want to be influenced by others' opinions before I state my own. The only times I haven't done this is when I initially had decided I wasn't going to respond to a post, but then changed my mind.I tell you this so you know that I made my post before I read yours. Since I twice stated in my post that Hazel is ugly in a charming way, and then read your response "it's not charming-ugly, it's just ugly", I wanted you to know that I didn't say what I did to specifically disagree with you. It's coincidence that we chose the same words in stating opposite opinions.
