I always think of it as a little airhead-ish and weird, but it's an association thing. There was a girl at my elementary school who decided she wanted to be called Summer in the third grade, and it wasn't her middle name or anything. She fit the above description. Her mother worked in the cafeteria and refused to call her anything but Jessica (her real name).I think it's pretty though it pairs well with longer older sounding names I think.Summer Jacobine
