Francis
Ok, i've fallen in love with Francis.I have liked it for a while, but now I really love it. A few years ago I went to Gallipoli on a study tour with uni and we had to pick a solider to research, I chose one who was from my town and his name was Francis, after researching him for a while I felt like I really knew him. So its special in that reason. Also coincidentally Francis is my great-grandfathers name.
Here's the problem. Husband LOVES Theodore and won't budge. Francis doesn't flow well with the other middle name we have picked out (Stewart after my grandfather, brother and father). Do you think that Theodore Francis Stewart Arnold (Arnold is SN) flows well? Can you guys suggest some combos' with Francis as the FN and Stewart as a middle name, with another middle name in there.Do you think Francis will become popular because of the pope.

Would Theodore Stewart Francis Arnold flow better? To my ears and eyes it does.

You can use either Theodore Francis, Francis Stewart, or Arnold Francis as names. You don't have to put them all together. I think it may spring back into popularity because of the pope. Only time will tell. (I was quite surprised when I learned what the pope had chosen as his papal name)

Well. I have to use Arnold as that is my surname. If we have a son he will have two middle names as Stewart will be honouring, i'd like to use another name that we like.

I dislike Theodore. And I really don't like Theodore and Francis together. The TH and the two S sounds are too much IMO.Francis Stewart flows FINE! I don't think they run together too much. It still sounds like Francis Stewart, not like Francis Tewart. What's wrong with Francis Stewart Arnold? Nothing!Francis would become slightly more popular regardless of the pope. I don't think popes matter. They always have common names. Okay, so ...Francis Conrad Stewart Arnold
Francis Richard Stewart Arnold
Francis Norman Stewart Arnold
Francis Raynor Stewart Arnold
Francis Malcolm Stewart Arnold
Francis Walter Stewart Arnold
Francis Peter Stewart Arnold
Francis Clive Stewart Arnold
Francis Dean Stewart Arnold

I think Theodore Francis flows better without Stewart in it, but since Stewart is the second middle name, how often are you going to say your son's whole name? Anyway, here are some combos:Francis Stewart AlexanderFrancis Theo StewartFrancis Stewart BenjaminFrancis Daniel StewartFrancis Stewart FelixFrancis Nathaniel StewartFrancis Stewart RayFrancis Cameron Stewart

Francis Stewart Gabriel is quite awesome because my grandfather Stewart was possibly originally named Gabriel (we found a second birth certificate for him). :D
