Yes, it's perfect for all ages. It's adorable for a little boy, and demands respect as a man. Cousin Gavin, Uncle Gavin, Grandpa Gavin, they all sound great!
I really like it! It's strong, yet as a certain gentle quality to it. It's charming, and but if put on the spot, could be quite intimidating!
It reminds me of Gawain, so the image of a gallant, noble Knight of the Round Table on horseback is the image I initially get. The second image is a tan, calloused, hard working cattle rancher coming in from work and bouncing his young son on his knee. I'm not quite sure why.
Well, I love babies, so I'd love meeting one with any name (hearty laughter). But, if I met one named Gavin, I'd probably tell the parents it was a wonderful name. Because, seriously, it is.
