I think it's a pretty and classic name. The meaning is definitely nice, too.
I just find the name so overused it's kind of bland now. I graduated with probably 10 Sarahs and Saras. I always knew them by Sarah M. or Sarah D. So unless it really took a dive in popularity, it wouldn't be usable to me as a first name.
If I really liked the name Sarah and its meaning, I'd probably use it as a middle name. You could create something with a really interesting meaning, too, if you combined a first name whose meaning went well with "princess/lady"
