Re: Theodore vs Abraham
in reply to a message by Bex
I like Daphne a whole lot better than Hilda. That's a pretty easy decision for me. I don't really like Theodore or Abraham. I see Abraham as a religious name. I like Bram a lot better than Abe, Theo or Teddy, so that's the only reason I'd say Abraham "Bram".Some suggestions for boys:
Ambrose
Jerome
Horace
Abel
Auberon / Oberon
Gregorius
Hugo
Joachim
Leofric (more daring, but it's got the safe "Leo" to fall back on)
Roland / Roeland
Thaddeus (Teddy might still work)
Wendel
Armand
Cornelis / Cornelius
Gerard
Emeric
Albert
Harold
Clarence
Leonard

Thanks! I love:Ambrose - more so on paper than the sound.
Horace - intresting.. not sure if I like it.
Abel - Afraid of the sons anarchy attachment, otherwise i'd use it.
Auberon / Oberon - Not sure if hubby likes this
Hugo - love but too short and too popular now! :(
Thaddeus - nice
Emeric - Same as Ambrose
Albert - I love Bertie. But im not sure im game enough to use
