I don't like popular names at all. Any overused names lose my interest pretty quickly. Except for these two...
I don't think Jesse is feminine at all. I like it both with the English and Dutch pronunciation (which is YES-sə).
I like the sound of Jase, but prefer the look of Jace, even though it doesn't really make sense. Again, Jace goes against my instincts when I think about what a name should be, but I just have a soft spot for it :)
I see Jason as a cool mythology name. (I like Iason and Aeson too, they're less popular, but I see them along the same lines as I do Jason)
