Whitley
I came across this name last name in a movie. The character was a 2 yr old boy. It struck my interest but not sure if I feel like its more of a girls name. They nn him Whit, Wdyt? Would any of you use it? Do you see it as masculine or feminine?

If Whitney, then why not Whitley, I suppose. Don't like it, though. Whitley Bay is a seaside town with a mix of the respectable and the extremely scaly, so that's what I think of.
I would see it as more feminine, but it wouldn't be awful on a boy. Personally, I'd way rather use Whitaker or Whitman with the nickname Whit on a boy.
I ♥ Whit- names for boys. Yes please.
Now after I've gone on about how much I hate surnames on girls in the below response, I will admit that there are a few--- a few ---surnames that I think sound more feminine than masculine, became standard for girls, and I think there's a reason for that. Whitney is one of those. I definitely see it as feminine. Definitely too feminine for a boy. And Whitley is even more feminine sounding than Whitney. So Whitley on a boy, no sir or madam.
I do find Whitley too contrived, though, even as a feminine name, and wish that every girl Whitley was instead a Whitney. And wish that every boy Whitley had parents with some sense.

Most of the Whitneys I've encountered get called Whit quite a bit
