Twin combos
Since twins run on my husband's side I was thinking about twin names today. I don't want anything super 'cutesy' (ie. first names start with the same letter), but I think I'd like something (however subtle) that links the two names together. Something like...
Asa Wallace
Oscar David
(both Asa and David were Biblical kings)
or
Raya Claire
Lincoln Cyrus
(middle names start with C)Just something link them together, but not in a terribly obvious way. Here are names I like, but feel free to insert others!Casper
Wallace
Simon
Asa
Talon
Oscar
Lincoln
CyrusHaven
Asia
Jane
Claire
Luna
Naomi
Petra
Raya

You do know that twins don't genetically filter down through the paternal side, but the maternal side, right?Henry & Eliza (from My Fair Lady)

Teeny tiny thingy: He can pass on the gene to a daughter though, so the likelihood of twins is increased in a daughter of a father where twins run in the family. But yeah, it doesn't matter if you're the partner of a man where twins run in the family.

Hence sometimes twins "skip a generation."

OK, that makes more sense...I knew guys could carry the gene! They just pass it on to their daughters. Got it.

Yup, the cousin of a friend of mine had fraternal twins and two of her aunts (one of them being my friend's mother) are fraternal twins. The cousin's father is brother to my friend's mother.

Well then I guess it was unnecessary for his grandmother to scare me about possibly having them! Sheesh.
