I grew up with people thinking this was my name. "Oh you're called Millie, is that Millicent or Amelia?" Drove me nuts, but between the two I'd have rather been Millicent - though I'm perfectly fine with "Just Millie" too. My sister calls me this as a pet name, much as I call her Eleanor (though her name is Ellie). I like it but I think it'd be hard to carry in real life.
