Too difficult to pronounce. I adore Io- names, but when I'm looking at an author's name (especially when it's a pseudonym), I like something that sticks with you and is easy to say. No one wants to fumble over the name when they brag about having read your poetry ;)

Becki, you're more than right; if I went to publish in English I'd choose another name. But here in Brazil we have names like Isabela and Gabriela and surnames like Tedesco, so they don't sound so strange. Maybe in the US I'd write as Nellie Ernest :)
