Ionela sounds very pretty, but in the font here it looks a lot like "lonela" which looks a lot like "lonely". Obviously not really a big deal, but that was my first impression.
I'm a bit confused by your explanation for Enescu. "ae" doesn't typically sound like the A in cat - it's usually more like "ay". I would be surprised if the E at the beginning of Enescu was pronounced like the A in cat. If so, I would spell it Anescu.
I would pronounce Enescu like ee-NESS-coo.

Emmita, you're right. It happens that I'm not a native English speaker, so I didn't know how to transcribe the open E that is used in Romanian. The closer I found was the "A" sound, but the "E" in Enescu is like the Latin ae sound, or "ai" in "hair". Thanks for replying :)
