Kelton
Awful, isn't it? Has anyone here heard that used as a first name before?

I don't think it's particularly awful, in fact, when I heard it years ago, I sort if liked it. Of course, the bearer was a kind old gentleman, so I suppose it was an association based fondness ... It does seem rather trendified when I look at it impartially.

I really dislike it.

Nah, don't like itIt's not awful, but I don't like it. The Kel- beginning makes me want to like it, but I don't. Sounds sort of trendy despite being uncommon. I've never heard of it before.

Not awfulA bit odd, somehow. The sounds are kind of strange together, but not awful. I could get used to it. I've never heard it used before.

Yes it is and nope :)

Yeah I think it's pretty awful. I don't like "Kel" names, I've decided. Kelly, Kellan, Kelton...not a fan. Also, all "Kel" names sound feminine to me so Kelton on a boy is especially bad. I don't like -ton names either, so this name is a mashup of two naming trends I don't like.

I like itOr at least, I don't mind it at all and think it sounds decent enough. I do know of one. He's probably like 13 or 14 now. I LOVE the name Kelson so don't really find this one all that offensive

Yep, I don't like it. It reminds me of skeleton.

I've never named anyone named Kelton. I don't think it's that awful, I could get used to it.

I've met a baby named Kelton before, and heard of some older ones. I don't mind it. I actually used to like Celton a lot (I still think it looks classier than Kelton) but whatever. I think Kelton's better than a lot of names out there anyway. I wouldn't use it myself but I suppose it could be considered a GP.

I don't think I've met one, but I'm not 100% sure. I'm running into so many of these 2-syllable, starts with K/hard C, ends in N names...they're all blending together. Kelton isn't any better or worse than the rest of them. I think it's more "ho-hum" than awful.

I remember going to high school with a kid named Kelton. I don't think it is that bad. I have seen much worse.

I don't think it's that bad. I've never heard it IRL, but I wouldn't think it was awful.
