Eva
I'm having an Eva obsession right now. Do you like this name? Is it too close to "evil"? It's my one misgiving. I really like...Eva Magdalene
Eva Victoria (and before you even say it, I LIKE the proximal V's, Bratty).alsoElizabeth Eva

I love it and it has been creeping around my top ten for years now. Which way do you prefer to pronounce it?

Eva is a fave of mine and one I've loved for years. Eva has never made me think of evil, not at all. Eva Magdalene is my fave of your combos.

I love Eva, Eve, Evelyn... pretty much anything with that Ev- sound. I've liked Eva for the longest, since I was a kid myself. I don't think of "evil" at all when I see it.Eva Magdalene is a nice combo. I don't mind Eva Victoria either, though it's a bit sing-songy. Elizabeth Eva isn't my cup of tea, though.

I really like Eva. And Evie. And Evita. And Genevieve. And Evelyn (although I don't pronounce that it like EEV. Oh and Ava too, I suppose. Pity my cousin's baby daughter is named Evie. Boo.I don't think it's too close to 'evil' at all.Eva Magdalene is pretty cool. Elizabeth Eva is a bit awkward is a bit awkward though.Genevieve "Evie", "Eve" is my favourite, but nn Eva could work too if you think Eva by itself is too close to 'evil' (again, totally not).

I like Eva but I think Eve is even better! Eve just seems a bit simpler and it's less like "evil" as you say - although I've never thought Eva sounds like evil anyway.Eva Magdalene is beautiful! My Eva combos are
Eva Josephine
Eva Juliet
Eva Meredith
Eva Penelope

I had an Eva aunt who was ... interesting. But not remotely evil. I prefer Eva to Eve - seems more complete. Don't like Evelyn. Do like Lyneve!I briefly considered something like Eloise Vickie Anne or Esme Victoria Alice, good little acronyms and including other names I'd like better than Eva itself. But I didn't go that route. Life's too short to have enough daughters.

I never before thought of that association until you mentioned it, and I don't think most people will either. Eva Magdalene is pretty, despite being uber biblical. It has a bit of a medieval vibe to it, imo. I don't really know why.
I don't like the similiar sounds with EVA VIctoriA.
Elizabeth Eva is just too E heavy, even for me.

I like it as long as it's pronounced "Eve-ah". If you're going to pronounce it like Ava, just name her Ava. Meh.

I've had a bit of a name crush on this lately too which surprises me. I think it's pretty not too close to Evil at all, I wouldn't have even thought of that myself. I like it as a nn for Genevieve, even though it's a little far-fetched

This is weird...I had a dream last night that I was named Eva.I like the name. It's dark, but in a good way. I usually don't like Magdalene, but Eva Magdalene is a great combo. Dynamic.
