It's okay.. I don't see why it couldn't make a comeback since it's simple and so close to Jane. I don't really want it to make a comeback though. This name to me is like John, so damn boring you barely pay attention when the person introduces themselves to you

John is interesting to me because it's become rare -- at least on name boards. lolThanks for the input. All opinions are valid. I wanted to get a gauge on how Jean would be received. :-)

Yeah sorry that was negative. It just bores me a little, even though it isn't common. I prefer it as a middle name. It could be spunky on the right girl but I think if it were on a shy timid mousy girl it wouldn't do her any favours.And John isn't popular for kids these days where I live but there are so so so many adults and middle aged people called John its ridiculous. Too me it sounds like no thought was put into their name. i feel the same way about Mark
