I do usually leave out the entirely English ones, but there was only one birth notice in English with solely English names this month - all the others were in Welsh, and are as listed. Yup, these are from Gwynedd, the most Welsh-speaking county in Wales. I would love to see the Welsh births in the yearly National Stats data broken down by county! The national top 10s had only one Welsh name apiece, which is sad. (Seren and Dylan). I did a breakdown of the others here, if you're interested:

Thanks, I did read your previous posts, interesting to have another look at the lists. And thanks for the pronunciation! We have a few Welsh and Scottish Gaelic named colleagues and it causes a bit of confusion for those of us not familiar with them!
