Just wondering how everyone pronounced this name
A)"ex-AY-vee-er"
B)"ZAY-vee-er"
C)"ig-ZAY-vee-er"
or some other way?

Close to B, but more of a ZAV than a ZAY-v. A short A, in other words.
To clarify: I've never met a South African named Xavier, and it is very rare to find one who speaks Spanish. We have a Portuguese community who, naturally, speak Portuguese as well as English and other local languages, but Portuguese isn't taught in our schools for practical purposes.

B. I like the name. :)
B) "ZAY-vee-er"
I usually use either a or c.
strictly B
Most similar to letter B, but I say it as two syllables- ZAYV-yer. I think it's really handsome, interesting but not too unfamiliar.
I pronounce it as in "A".
Bonus-I have a young relative named Xavier, and that's how his family say it.

B: ZAY-vee-er
I pronounce it ex-AY-vee-er. I might sometimes pronounce it ig-ZAY-vee-er if I'm being lazy though.

My mind usually pronounces it like ZAH-vi-er, it's the name of the father of someone I know (he's French).
I mix between A and C, it's the only way I've ever heard it pronounced though I know a lot of people agree on B.
Xsavior, Savior, Exsavior

Oh man I'm sitting here saying Xavier over and over because I can't figure out if I'm A or C
