I've only ever heard ROZalind on a living person; which squares with the probable etymology. If it's derived from Rose, then no doubt ROSEalind would be suitable. But I much prefer the Germanic origin!I've known a very nice one and a rather ghastly one. No help there. The As You Like It connection is a very good one. The pronunciation issue ... is an issue. But I wouldn't hesitate to use Rosamond, which I've also heard as ROZamond instead of ROSEamond. So, yeah, maybe a mn is the way to go.What would you put with it as a fn?
