Lindowyn
My friend told me of this name the other day. I think she said it was someone's username so I don't know if its' their real name or not.
I'm curious as to what people think of it as it isn't listed on this site.

I like the sound but I don't like how it looks.
Interesting. Sounds like something from Lord of the Rings.
I've never heard / seen Lindowyn before. If it's a "real" (as opposed to made-up) name then it looks Welsh. Traditionally masculine names end in "-yn" in Welsh.
It reminds me of Lindiwe, an African girl's name.

It sounds like a Tolkien elf. I don't care for it- I would just use Gwendolyn.
To me, it sounds more Rohirric than Elvish. Or a smush between the two.

Gwendolyn > Lindowyn.
The 'indow' part makes me think of windows.

It looks made-up, like a LOTR fangirl's creation. Or a contraction of Linda and Owen?
