Sigiswald
Opinions on Sigiswald? The w is pronounced like a v. I have taken quite a fancy to this name. It's not in the database :(

Not quite my taste, but definitely cool.
The common form here in Sweden would be Sigvald, by the way - not too uncommon in the early 20th century. :) (The similar Sigvard is a lot more common, though)

Sigvald and Sigvard are going on my long list. Thanks! :-)
reminds me of anglosaxon names
When I see a name like this, I automatically look for your enthusiastic response! :) I should make a list called "Names that make me think of Bear".
Well aren't you a darling?! :-) Thank you!
Give me your tired, your lonely, huddled masses of obscure, looney-tunes names yearning to breathe freely. Then give me the Italian variants of them and watch me explode. (Sigisvaldo, anyone?)

Good enough for me. :o)
And actual Sigiswald is walking the Earth? Too cool.

He's Belgian and has brothers named Barthold, Wieland and Eckhart.
