I don't like Vernon at all. It kind of reminds me of the word 'venom' with the added issue of a gurgle-y and ugly 'r' in the middle of it. It also sounds very old-fashioned and I don't think it suits a little kid. I do like when people honour family members with names though, so I shouldn't dislike it so much.

I don't like Locklyn. I don't understand the idea of taking an everyday word like 'lock' and adding a -lyn suffix. Lachlan would've been better, even though it's a masculine name. I don't even like Lachlan though. It sounds very clunky and overly harsh. Locklyn Kyla as a combo flows about as well as molasses mixed with sand, but obviously they're honouring her mother.
