I love this name, it's so pretty. I like Kaia, Kaya and Kya. My fave is probably Kaia though, makes it easy for people to know how to pronounce it!

I love the name Kaia! I prefer the spelling Kaia, Kaya is nice, but I always end up wanting to pronounce it as KAY-a instead.

I LOVE it said KY-ah! I love both spelling, but Kaia looks less tryndee and is less likely to be mispronounced. Also, Kaia is in the database and Kaya isn't.

It's ok, but I used to like it more than I do now. Now it just seems to have a 'trendy' feel. :(

It's one of my very favorites that I would very seriously consider using. It's just a *little* too borderline trendy for me, blending a bit much with the Kayla/Keira/Kylie/Kayleigh crowd.

But I love the look, the sound, and the fact that it comes from so many different cultures. It's somehow exotic and humble at the same time.

Edit to add: I prefer the spelling Kaia. I don't know why, it just looks nicer. With Maya/Maia I prefer the Maya spelling... it's a mystery.

If its pronounced Ky-uh then I prefer Kya or Kyah, if its kay-uh then I like Kaya or Kayah. :)

it is cute, cindy crawford has a daughter named kaia jordan and a son named presley walker........i prefer the kaia spelling, or kaja..........kaya is a boys name in some parts of the world and i heard/know of quite a few male kayas.............

I really like Kaia, but for some reason DH doesn't even though he likes Kylie & "ah" types names (I'm trying to find a compromise as I'm not quite sure about how I feel about how Kylie will age). To me its lovely, underused, and feminine. I prefer the spelling Kaia (yet I prefer Maya to Maia).

Is this pronounced KAY-ah? It's an alright name, NMS, but okay. I like the Kaia spelling the best.
