I don't like Donald because of personal experiences. There's a kid at my school called Donnie (Donald) who keeps getting arrested for having drugs and swearing at the police.
I like Ray, but whenever I hear it I laugh because I'm thinking of the Father Ray at my church who's, like, twenty-seven, and always makes mass entertaining because he messes stuff up. Once he forgot to have the offering baskets passed around. Also, he gets really emotional during homilies and once went on for fifteen minutes on why holiday is a SECULAR word, gosh darn it, and we should say stuff like "Holy Day" and "Christ's Mass" instead.
But overall, I like the name Donald Ray. It seems like an interesting combo, very traditional, and gives lots of opportunities for nicknames. Also most people probably won't laugh and think of juvenile delinquents when they hear it. I think it's great!
