Who would you pronounce Cailou?

I recently bought a CD story book called Cailou.

It is a present for a friends child so I can't listen to the CD and find out. Lol.

Could it be Kai-Loo like I think it is or Kay-Loo like Chris thinks it is?

I would say Kay-loo, but thats probably not the correct pronounciation.

Caillou = kie-YOO

Caillou's a character in a popular children's series of books, which were later turned into a TV series aimed at preschoolers. Jeannie used to watch it all the time.

Caillou's French for "pebble", I believe. Caillou is bald, hence his name, but his baldness has no apparent reason.

Thank you. It looks like the book would be a character on TV for kids hence me buying it.

Finn watches it sometimes. Yeah, isn't Caillou supposed to be 4?

A bit old to be bald.
