Don't name your kid Erin. It was an organization in ancient Ireland that all free men were part of. They were called 'the Free Men of Erin.' It's like naming your daughter 'Masonic Temple' or 'Knights of Columbus.'
If you want to give her an Irish name, do that, but don't name her after the Chieftains of Erin. Call her Aine, Caiomhe, Eily (short for Eileen.) Those are all pretty.
