I like Jill. I don't think it's pretty though. Well ... it's pretty like an oak tree is pretty. Of course it's 'pretty,' but loveliness is not the striking thing about it. Prettiness is not the thing that the name Jill invests in, and that is fine, it doesn't make it less feminine or less appealing. It's still a good name. It seems to me to be a name worn differently by grownups than by young girls, but it's good either way.

I guess Lucy goes with it alright in terms of style, but I don't like Lucy.
