Xanthe
What are your thoughts on Xanthe? How would you pronounce it? Any combo ideas?
I believe the usual English pronunciation is ZAN-thee, but ksan-THEE (with the ks in kicks) is more authentically Greek.

I like it, but I'd prefer it paired with a Greek last name.
I say ZAN-thee. I don't really have an opinion on this name. I wouldn't use it and I wouldn't say I like it, but there's nothing 'wrong' with it if that makes sense?

I find the name a bit funny to me when pronounced in English.
I pronounce it ZAN-thee. I think it's okay. If I had to grade it, I'd give it a B-.
I say XAN-thee and I really like it, but feel it would only suit a blonde girl, in view of its meaning.
I also like the look of Ianthe, but I'm not sure how it's pronounced.

Ianthe
I've read that in Greek it's ee-AN-thee.
