Thaddeus
I do like this. Thad not AS much, but it's still not bad. It's on my top 10 now.

To be honest, I really like the idea of the name Thaddeus, but when I try to put myself in the shoes of someone who has to wear the name Thaddeus it loses some of its appeal for me. I think a certain person could pull it off, but for another sort of person it might be difficult to wear. Also, I think it would be unrealistic to except a Thaddeus to always be Thaddeus and not sometimes Thad or Tad, and I don't like either of those. Thaddeus is handsome in a vacuum, though.
I've warmed up to it just the past few days too, since I recalled that I have met two of them. One went by Thad (which is kinda jockish or pugilistic sounding IMO, or at least, this guy was - but that didn't ruin it, or him, heh) and the other was called Tad. Tad seems small and sad on paper, but if the person called it is a substantial physical presence I think the word does not even cross people's minds. Like Rob. Only cooler.
I adore Thaddeus! It's so bristly and stuffy and handsome.
