Vivienne or Juliette?
We've agreed on these two names for our possible baby girl. Boy named decided. Which do you prefer? Is Vivienne getting too popular? Thx!

I love them both, although I prefer Juliet spelled this wa y, rather than Juliette.
I think Juliette is slightly better than Vivienne, but I do really like both. Neither of them are too popular in my experience.

I prefer Vivienne. Juliette is pretty, but a bit too frilly for me.
Juliette
But my real preference is for is Vivien or Vivian, followed by Juliet, then Juliette, and way, way in the back, so far off you can barely see it--Vivienne.
Whether Vivienne is too popular depends on your own tolerance levels. I would call both Vivienne and Juliette familiar but not overly common.

Juliette's kind of frilly.
Juliette but I think Juliet looks much nicer.

I prefer Juliet as a mn, because I find Julie trite and bland and unavoidable. Vivienne seems dated to me, but once again I prefer Vivien. Can't see the point of using a French spelling and an English pronunciation!
So, in your place, I'd go for Vivien Juliet.

I think Vivienne will keep getting more and more popular, but it won't enter the top 100 for a couple of years (if ever).
It's a great name and I don't think it's getting too popular. Juliette would perhaps get confused with Juliet as well. So I'm voting for Vivienne.

Vivienne. Juliette is too delicate, IMO.
Definitely Vivienne /nt/
I'd go with Vivienne. I don't know for sure but I'd suspect Juliette is more popular. I prefer Vivienne because of 2 main reasons: 1. Lady of the Lake vs. Juliet: one is clearly a cooler (and less teenage-hormonal :P) character! and 2. The "ette" in Juliette is too frilly. Only a VERY girly person could pull it off. "enne" is more versatile and subtle. Plus, Vi and Vivi are cool nicknames.
Out of the two I prefer Vivienne. Juliet (that spelling) would be my choice, but it's not an option, so Vivienne it is.
Vivienne
I just checked the popularity stats for Vivienne and I was pretty shocked to see how quickly it's rising in popularity. Before seeing that, I would've said that it's not getting too popular at all because I have yet to hear of any babies with this name (besides Angelina Jolie's daughter). Regardless of its recent spike in popularity, I still like it well enough. I can't help but think that Juliette is a little bit pretentious sounding. Especially that spelling.
