I like it. It reminds me of the moon and the Harry Potter character. I think it would make a charming middle name, in particular.

I like it. I like the sound (manageable but still a bit magical) and the moon meaning. It also has a nice fantasy vibe without being long, frilly, or hard to spell. It's definitely a name I would use in either the fn or mn slot.

I prefer names with that meaning; they tend not to be associated with lunacy. Diana, Phoebe ... and I've only ever known one Luna and she's perfectly OK and all that, but just not my type - ferociously focused and capable of doing rather odd things which she doesn't find odd at all because she's done them. Not a good explanation! But she didn't sell me on the name.

Princess Luna of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and Luna Lovegood of Harry Potter comes to mind, but even without the associations Luna is quite a beautiful name.

I love Luna, although really only as a guilty pleasure...for a human. It's one of my favorite names for a cat. :)

I have a little cousin named Luna. I believe her parents got the idea from "Harry Potter".It's all right. I would never use it, but it has its charm.

I like the moon, and I like Luna as the name of the moon, but as a person's name I just don't like it. It seems dippy and spacey and airheaded.

I think it's nice. I know it has connotations of "lunacy" and harry potter but hey, the moon is cool.

It's on my list. I think it's very pretty without being overly frilly. It's an awkward name to find a combination for thought and for that reason alone it was taken off my list for several months, however I love it's sound and history so now it's back :)
