Well, I've met a few Samuel and Samantha who went by Sam pretty consistently. Jessica's I know were just Jessica, but were in non-English speaking countries were nns aren't used as much. I know one middle aged James who's always called Jimmy and used to know another younger one who was James always. Don't think I've ever met an Allie, not that I remember.
