My cousin and his wife just had their baby yesterday- Lindsey Marie. She joins Melanie Grace and Charles Scott. The name goes with the siblings, but I'm bored with the mn. And it's my mn. And the aunt and year old cousin's mn.

You're right in that Lindsey Marie fits in with Melanie Grace (which I do like) and Charles Scott. It could have been much, much worse! Lynzeigh Mahree, anyone? :-)

Meh. Ok but boring. I like the other names better.

I haven't seen Lindsey used for a baby in probably ten years at least. Not a fan of it, but it is a nice change, and goes nicely enough with the other two. Like Charles a lot and love Melanie.

I agree that the name goes with her siblings' names. Lindsey Marie seems very 80s to me, but Lindsey is a warm, friendly sounding name. I don't mind it even though it's not something I would have chosen myself.

Yeah, I'm a bit surprised to see a baby Lindsey. It's not a bad thing, though... I find many names people associate with the 80s still usable, they're a welcome change from Jaylyn and Harlow and Mykenzi.

The mom is a teacher, so she sees a lot of popular names. My mom reminded me that her sister's mn is Lynn, and Marie is probably honoring the aunt I mentioned.
