What does the name Betsy say to you? adjectives: old-fashioned, corny, dated, and dowdy.
I guess I do think of Betsy-Wetsy but I don't think the children in school will have ever even heard of that doll. I don't think she would be teased. I prefer the nn: Ellie, Ella, or Elia.

Sorry! : )I just typed out the adjectives that came to mind. Don't listen to me! My guess is that I probley fit in with the "family member whose naming styles you don't like."
