Adonais
In my British Romanticism class today we were talking about Percy Shelley. Flipping through my anthology, I came across one of his poems called Adonais.WDYT of that name? Pronounced Add-on-AY-issI found it a bit intriguing.

It's a bit ridiculous.Even though I'm of Greek heritage, I still find Adonis to be a silly, over-the-top name. It's not even widely used in Greece - I've never heard of anyone named Adonis.

Sounds like something to eat. Fresh asparagus with a lemony Adonais sauce and cracked pepper.

It looks like a combination of Adonai and Adonis, which I find deeply strange.
