Re: Clara

I really enjoy Clara (I don't like K, so Klara is fine but not nice in my books) and I think it's better than Claire and 129% better than the awful Clare.
Sadly I didn't enjoy tonight's episode or any of the last series. I know, I know - dumb fan rage. The concept was okayish, but the actual result - arggh. Mediocre is being kind. I also doubt that I'll like Clara - the character. She strikes me as a bit Martha-ish, and I hated Martha for reasons. She was... no. I was really hoping for someone more like Donna, or even in the vein of Amy, but nope... someone whose attitude reminds me of Martha. Great. Ick. I could be wrong and either way, I doubt it'll change my attitude to Clara any more than Amelia changed my attitude to Amelia (meh) or Donna to Donna (hate the name, love the character a lot, still bitch about how they wrote her out). It might mean an increase in Clara being used, a bit like people saw Amelia on Dr Who and thought 'hmmmm... Amelia'.
But all that's off topic! I like the name, tis all.
