Fiammetta
I mentioned Fiammetta to my SO with no real expectations but he really likes it! So what do you think of Fiammetta? What would be your first thoughts and expectations of a girl with that name? We would probably call her Fia. Is this name useable in a sibset with Isaac? Combo ideas?

I think it would look kinda silly unless you're from a really Italian family.

I think it's a tad over the top, but I personally would enjoy seeing more people with dramatic names in real life. And Fia makes it more usable for sure. I don't think Fiammetta goes with Isaac- they give me very different vibes.

Fiammetta is a GORGEOUS name! And the nickname Fia is so cute!Question, though: are you Italian? (Or of any other Mediterranean ethnicity?) It's such a loud Italian name that it might seem strange in a non-Italian family.

We are Italian, and his last name is pretty Italian sounding as well. The only thing that concerns me about it being such a strongly Italian name is the possibility that her name won't fit with her siblings. Can you suggest any other Italian names we might like?

I absolutely adore Fiammetta! It's so dynamic. It doesn't go with Isaac at all, but I don't think that's problematic.

I really like it. It's a mite over-the-top, but certainly not unusable. I say go for it. Especially with the nickname Fia. And yes, I think it's fine with Isaac.

I like it, and I don't think it's over-the-top. It's fancy, sure, but so what? It's got a dramatic flair to it, like a dancer's skirt. Fia is a cool NN, too. I say go for it.

It's more worthy of a middle name slot in my opinion as in the first name it becomes a bit over the top to many and a bit long for my tastes.

I think it sounds like a flashy Italian sports car rather than a person. Fia sounds like one also, but very tiny.

I love my Fia, but it's not very good in the snow.Too light.

No. The name it's totally, totally over the top to me. I knew a woman who used the name and it was the exact type of name she's use. Over the top, very loud. Just too much.
