I'd also assume the "Oh Dallas" pronunciation, but I'm not sure if that's right or not. Unfortunately, it reminds me of the words "odorless" (which is better than having an odor, but still.... lol).

I met an Odalis once while in England - she is from Sevilla. She didn't pronounce it 'oh dallas' though, it was 'oh-da-lees' which I thought was really pretty.

I like Odalis, I think I would use it myself as a mn. I thought the correct pron was: oh-DAH-liss, I prefer this pron. I don't like the e sound in the oh dallas pron.

Are you sure this is "Oh, Dallas"? Since this is a Spanish name I always assumed it was something like "oh-da-LEASE" or at least "OH-dah-lease".

"Oh, Dallas! I love that show!" Unfortunately, that's all I can hear when I say it. And when I see it, I see Beck's "Odalay." I can't say I like it a great deal--it just feels mashed up rather than its own name.
