Leigh?

I really like Leigh on a girl (and Lee on a boy). It's simple but understated. I wrote a story once when I was younger where the main characters name was Leigh... she was meek and pretty.
I like Leigh as a full name for a girl and Lee as a NN for a boy. Lee (boy) is fine on its own too but I like a LOT of '-ly' names on boys as it is so "Lee on it's own" feels like a missed opportunity to me. On the other hand, I mostly dislike '-ly' names on girls so "Leigh on it's own" feels more refreshed

I've seen both Lee and Leigh used for both; I always expect Lee on a boy and Leigh on a girl. I don't like it for boys in general, though I've got an excellent Lee nephew. I was at school with a really remarkable girl Leigh, and she sold me on the name (which I think I'd only use as a mn; it was her mn too, actually, but she always went by it and not by her fn - Mabel.)
