I guess it does, a bit. Especially if she has siblings named things like Grace and Faith. But just by itself, not any more than Angela or Christine do by themselves.
I'm not fond of Hope, I just don't care much for the sound. I like a couple names that mean hope in other languages, like Esperanza and Nadine.
