Miona does sound cute. It might be almost too cute-- like the babytalk version of Iona --but for an invented name, Miona's not bad. It would work well for a pet or a character.

Emmeline is just another of those dull em names, just trying a little harder to sound all Victorian and not as popular as Emma and Emily.

Miona sounds like a cat noise. Also, it looks like somebody was desperate to honor Naomi but couldn't or wouldn't use the actual name so they switched the letters around and got this.
