Carminho is a nickname for Carmo. It has recently became popular because of a singer of that name.

It is interesting - I'm a fan of girls' names ending in -o. But it looks so unfamiliar to a predominantly-English speaker, and so close yet far to Carmen, and it kind of stumped me :P. I don't know -what- to think of it.
