It's a bit too cutesy, and reminds me of the surname Kiley.

I like it, but DH's name is Kyle :D. We're considering it for a girl's name, but I'm not sure. It doesn't really fit with our other names (Maggie, Grace, Isabella, Lila, etc).

Isn't it strange, I don't think Kylie would ever be discribed as trendy here in Australia. It is a name that has been around for a long time and there were a lot as I was growing up in the 70s and 80s. I would put it on par with names like Amanda and Karen as these were other very popular names when I was growing up. The only Kylie's I know are in their mid 30s.I would never use it but it is quite pretty. Miles better than the dreadfully trendy Kayla's, Kaylee's etc.

Kylie is too trendy for me. I dislike the sound and I just don't like it. I much recommend Kelly or Kyla for a girl

For sound along, I love it.But it's tryndee and cutesy, and won't age well at all. Maybe Caroline / Karoline nn Kylie or Carolyn nn Kylie?

Cutesy and trendy. It will date her badly._____________________________________________________________________Elinor

It's cutesy, modern, contrived, doesn't age well, and it's trendy. :(
Don't care for it at all.~Heather~

I really like this name - it's been one of my top choices for a while now (and one that my sig. other actually likes off my lists). It would work well on a baby, a toddler, a young girl, a girly girl or tomboy. It would also work well as a teenager and a career woman.I picture (adult-wise that is) an average to tall young woman, lean but not skinny, long hair. Funny. I loved the movie Practical Magic but for the LIFE of me could NOT remember a Kylie in it!Thanks to IMDB I realized she must have been one of Sally's daughters. It just didn't stand out to me for some reason. Hm.edit: To Spree.

It's one of my favorite movies. I can't stand the name Antonia though.Should have thought of her for the Evan thread a while back (her real name is Evan Rachael Wood)."We can even learn from our enemies." -OvidMitakuye Oyasin

She's a popstar... is what I think.I liked this name better when she wasn't so famous because, especially in the states where this name was pretty much unheard of before her, to use it would, imo, automatically make people think "she's named after Kylie Minogue"I never even heard the name before Kylie Minogue came around. God am I having troubles spelling that woman's name today. :(
